Play from the combined Day 2 of the WPT Amneville in France has ended with Nesrin "Ness" Kourdourli is the chip lead with 975k. Tyler Cornel and Ilan Boujenah are in second and third around the 750k level. All 48 remaining players are now in the money. The WPT Amneville tournament, presented by PartyPoker.fr at Seven Casino d’Amneville, started with 542 entries.   Average chip stack is 339,375.

 

Notables that played but have already busted included  French pros Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier, Antoine Saout, Ludovic Lacay, and Antoine Lellouche, as well as WPT London winner Jake Cody.

The winner of the €3,500 buy-in event takes home €426,425 and a $25,000 ticket to the next WPT Championship while the runner-up gets €229,613 and a ticket to the WPT Paris 2011.

Tournament play resumes Saturday at 2 pm and will finish at 2 am or at 8 players remaining.
