Jonathan Duhamel,23, wins the 2010 WSOP Main Event for $8,944,138, beating John Racener who settles for second and $5.545,855.

The last hand was anti-climactic as Duhamel reraised all in with A,J and Racener called with K,8 and only 10 big blinds left.  The board didn't improve either hand falling 4,4,9,6 and 5.

The heads up play lasted about 90 minutes and 43 hands with John Racener never getting above 40 million in chips to put a dent in Duhamel's 180-200 million stack. Duhamel applied constant pressure raising almost all buttons, while Racener took the more cautious approach limping his button.  Duhamel wore him down and despite one double up, was constantly in charge.

Jonathan Duhamel becomes the first Canadian and first Quebecer to win the main event.  He jumped into his mosh pit of supporters who were all wearing the red and white NHL jerseys of the Montreal Canadians. They were clearly the loudest supporters on the night as their player had a huge lead to enjoy.

As he prepares to receive the bracelet, he is draped in a Canadian flag and he lets out screams of raw emotion celebrating with friends and family.
