So Phil Hellmuth has already placed second in two non-Hold 'Em events. Although he's arguably the best No Limit Hold 'Em tournament player in the world, 11 bracelets bolster that argument, he has never won an event in another game. Do you guys think that these strong showings will give him momentum to capture the Player of the Year title?

I heard that he has two runner-up finishes but I never heard the events. Which games was he playing in those tournaments?

He came in second at the $10,000 Seven Card Stud Hi-Low Split 8 or Better Championship and $10,000 Seven Card Stud Hi-Low Split Championship.

Ben Lamb just won the 10k Pot Limit Omaha Championship to pass Hellmuth for POY. There's still about 15 events left so we'll see what happens. I think it'd be cool to see Hellmuth win it.

Yeah, I don't know why but I like Phil. He's always been one of my favorites even though he's so easy to hate. Sometimes he does take it too far and says things to other players that he regrets.

Hellmuth is currently in fourth and Ben Lamb is in the lead. Both are at the final table at the $50,000 Championship and all Hellmuth needs to do is place a few spots ahead of Lamb to overtake the lead. It should be an interesting run to the POY title.

Ben Lamb is still alive at the Main Event with only 22 players and has wrapped up the POY. Maybe next year Phil, he still had a good run.

Lamb is gunna win... Even though this year they are counting the European events he won't be catched. It'd be no surprise if he goes all the way.
