Posted on Nov 25th 2010  -  Subject: Giuseppe Pantaleo leads after Day 3 of EPT Barcelona

Giuseppe Pantaleo is leading after Day 3 of the EPT Barcelona.  They are now down to 24 players, from the 112 that started Day 3. The German Pantaleo started with 622,500 chips, but ended the day with 2.3 million.

In second is Alessandro Longobardi with 1,863,000 and Thor Stang on 1,447,000 while Luis Rufas, Roman Makhlin and Dominik Nitsche also have nice stacks.

Many of the established players busted out on Day 3, including Team PokerStars Pros Matthias de Meulder and Leo Fernandez, along with Roberto Romanello and Bryn Kenney, which lost out on the star attractions of Alex Gomes, Ruben Visser, and Frenchman Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier.

The remaining 24 players will play down to the final table on Friday in their effort to claim their piec of the €3,790,000 prize pool, and the first place prize of €825,000.
