Antonio Esfandiari, with a late surge in Day 3, continues as the chip leader in the WPT Five Diamond Poker Classic Main Event at the Bellagio in Las Vegas.  Esfandiari leads with 1.082 million with 54 players remaining.  He is hoping to secure his second WPT title on Wednesday, which is his 32nd birthday.

The money bubble burst on Day 3 with 100 players left. Notable players that made the money but bust before the end of Day 3 included Phil Ivey, Jason Mercier, and Johnny Chan.
