Hey my dear colleagues, I'm wondering : do any of you use any kind of pokertool when playing real money games ? And what are your experiences with them ? I would love to hear your opinions. And it might be a great topic for new players to know what is usefull and what is not. So please, reply with a little bit of practical information, AND please give your answer in the poll i'm setting up for this ! Thanks everyone ! Carddemon

Carddemon on occasion i use "poker indicator" but not so much for what to do but for an accurat log of hands played and stats for my own record keeping, and opponent stats to see if a player is on a loosing streak and starting to implode by making steam bets, i also like it cause it shows me my folded card cause i usually forget what they were and think sometimes i may have folded the nutz ...but on the other hand i feel if they werent worth playing they not worth remembering either lol

I tryed Pokerbility. Its a good tool, but sometimes it instructions r not what u want to do in certainly hands. This tool read a lot of rooms automactily. But it have only 100 hands for free and the license is high. I used Poker indicator too, but i still prefer my only way to do it.

I haven't tried any myself. I was also wondering If they were a good idea. I only hear about them threw sites making money off them. Isn't it really hard to look back on hands and such when you play hours a day? I could never find the hand I was looking for when playing on CD poker.

I was recently told about poker office, I downloaded it and then opened up a poker account on a new site so that I could get the license for free. It is a nice package and works well with CD, Party, but not Full Tilt - as those are my 3 main sites. I like the information it provides as it does both Ring games and Tourny's.

I need the gadgets to give me an impartial perspective on how I play ... this means that I don't have to think back over the tournament history to see where I went wrong, I can just review the logs. For those of us who are in the learning stages, it certainly beats play and losing for 2 or 3 years to get good enough to play for serious money. I read books, I read on-line stuff. These help my game grow - they are tools, the same with the "gadgets"
