More PIv7 Improvements and Fixes May 4th 2008

We're working too much, but it's kind of fun

The following improvements were made on the PokerInside.com website:

TEAM FANTASY POKER CHALLENGE

• On the Leaderboard, we added a cool "Best Hand" graphic that displays each team's best hand from the Challenge period.
  
• IMPORTANT: We have automated the BetMost Poker hand-importing process so now Raked Hands are updating every 3 hours automatically. This means the Team Fantasy Poker Challenge Leaderboard will update every 3 hours as well. This is a big improvement!

MY ACCOUNT

• There was a bug with Poker Nibs updating in your Total Nib count. We fixed it and all stats should be accurate now.
  

FORUMS

• We fixed a bug related to Forum Polls. Admin and Members can now create POLLS and voting is working as it should (we hope!)
  
• We introduced a new style in our Forums to add some contrast. We hope it's easier on your eyes.
  
• We fixed a bug related to Forum Subscriptions that was preventing emails from being sent. Now emails are sent when you are subscribed to a Forum Thread.
  
• We re-added the "New Members" Forum. We don't know where it went in the first place, but it's back!

REFERRAL CHALLENGE

• We fixed a Leaderboard bug on the Referral Challenge. The Challenge is now accurate.

OTHER

• We added common navigation links to the footer so you can get around more easily.
  
• On the CHALLENGES navigation menu, we added all our Challenges for quick access.
  
• We added a $250 per Referral banner to our sidebar. This is a great promotion so we wanted to showcase it.

PIv7 Improvements and Fixes May 1st 2008

We have made the following Bug Fixes and Improvements to PIv7:

• The Fantasy Poker Challenge is now displaying all correct information for MAY!

• Admin now has the ability to update Challenges anytime we want

• We fixed a bug related to viewing Deposits on BetMost Poker accounts.
  

• We fixed the "X Referrals" link on the "My PokerInside" main page.

• We added ability to import Raked Hands from FatBet Poker. This is big because it means you can play at Fatbet Poker and compete in the Fantasy Poker Challenge!

• Admin can now edit a Forum Topic Type

• Profile View has been fixed to display appropriate information more clearly

• Members can now edit their profile. There was a bug with it.

• Members can now QUOTE a post in the Forums. There was an error with it.

New Blogs a Big Hit! May 1st 2008

May 1st there were 10 Blog Posts. (including those in April before the Challenge started)

View Challenge and Leaderboard

We are very excited to launch our first ever Team Fantasy Poker Challenge. We hope you enjoy the thrilling TEAM competition. We're paying out $3,000 Cash in May!!!

Every 50 raked hands a team plays (at BetMost Poker) will earn that team 1 Fantasy Card from a virtual 52-card deck. Every 5 Fantasy Cards forms a Fantasy Hand which is assigned a point value (see chart on right).

A teams' Fantasy Points are the sum of ALL their Fantasy Hand's point values. The more raked hands a team plays, the more Fantasy Hands are generated!

This challenge is in test mode until May 1st, 2008!

Prizes for May 2008:

• 1st Place Team will win $750 Cash split evenly between all team members
  
• 2nd Place Team will win $500 Cash split evenly between all team members
  
• 3rd Place Team will win $350 Cash split evenly between all team members
  
  
• 4-10th Placed Teams will win a $500 Freeroll for all members combined
  
• 11-20th Placed Teams will win a $500 Freeroll for all members combined
  
• 21-30th Placed Teams will win a $400 Freeroll for all members combined

PIv7 Released! Apr 28th 2008

As you already know, we released a huge update tonight. For the next few days, please hang with us and be patient while we fix any bugs that come up. We really appreciate it! It will be worth it, I promise

This update brings the following improvements:

HOME PAGE/LAYOUT

• We made the entire side wider so we can fit more data. We modified the colors, layout and logo. Hopefully you like it more!
• We changed our slogan to fit what we really are: POKER REWARDS COMMUNITY
• We improved the navigation menu links, placement and colors.
• Home Page has been restructured to show more about what PokerInside.com has to offer poker players. If you have ideas on what's missing, please tell us!

TEAM PLAY

• Team View Design
  We re-designed the entire Team View page. All members can view any other team and "Post Comments", view Raked Hands, etc. We added a Team Fantasy Challenge widget to make it easy to view a Challenge summary for that team.
• Team Fantasy Poker Challenge
  We added a very cool Fantasy Poker Challenge for teams to compete against eachother for cash and prizes. - read more details -

• FAQ ADDED
  By popular demand, we added a Frequently Asked Questions section where you can find answers to many of our popular questions.

• 10-POINT RATING SCALE
  We re-rated all Poker Rooms based on a 10-point scale.

  We added a Sponsorship Calculator to allow new members to calculate how much they can earn in Sponsorships every week if they play with PokerInside.
  

We haven't been resting!!! Feb 7th 2008

We haven't been resting, we've just been busy making improvements, fixing bugs, and most importantly ... getting ready for the Super Bowl this Sunday!

The following improvements have been made:

• CDPoker and BetMost Poker stats have been reloaded for last week and are accurate now. The Challenge Leaderboard was loaded as well.
• Admin Searching has been improved for finding poker accounts
• We have added a beta version of our PI Blogs! We look forward to improving these in the upcoming weeks and welcome all feedback. Create your own personal Poker Blog at www.pokerinside.com/members/blogs
  
• Our Home page has been improved. We added a blurb about our PI Guarantee and also added some Challenge Leaderboards
• Referral Nibs are now counted properly on the My VIP Progress page. This was a bug that has been fixed.
• We now have the ability to add other sites in our Resources page
• CayaPoker has been added as a new Featured room. PokerInside members will recieve 30% Rakeback there PLUS all PI benefits!
• Leaderboard structure has been modified so there are NO MORE DEDUCTIONS!
