I like to play tournements but find the time needed a problem. Most of the tournements I play on CD Poker seem to have about 900 - 1200 players. Anyone know of any other Pokerinside sites with smaller numbers at reasonable starting times (7pm to 8pm uk time)?

You should use a tournament finder program like the one on this site, that way you can search a tournament that qualifies to your personal settings.

I have the same problem .We are on eastern std time ( canada) an seems the bigger tourneys are very early in the mournings when ur usually sleeping or gettin up to go to work ,would be nice to see some half decent  tourneys being played after coming home from work /or in our relaxing hours , Has PI thought about maybe having or asking BETMOST to accomidate   more poker times to the eastern side of earth

Try at betMost. For the players, no matter from which time zone they are comming there is really big offer of every kind of tournaments at anytime.
