just need to knwo when to fold em.... people seem to think they automatically going to win just because they start with the best hand.. use your raises to try keep the hands you want in for a start and prey for a good flop..

It all depends on what tourny you are in, if it's a freeroll then it don't matter what you go all in on because there is always 1 dud that doesn't know what they are doing and they will call with 7 2 and hit 2 pair. High buy in tourny then you can make a raise but not to big to scare people off, then play the board whether you hit or not. Don't forget, the best hand doesn't always win. At the end of the day, sometimes its better to win a small pot by going all in than slow playing and losing a lot more!

It depends on the chip stacks. I find it best to make a substantial raise to kick out all but the really persistent calling stations. Then at least you will have some chips left when the flop hits 789 or three hearts and the other player bets into you.
