I start of rather thight on the beginning but when the blinds increase I'll play uber agressive.

If luck shuts the door, you have to come in through the window.

My strategy is: very tight at the beginning, when just 5 players remain, I play agressively, then in the top 3 more agressively, because who kick the 3rd, in a lot of times, win the s&g too...

Now I just playing jackpot s&g-s on BetMost Poker. I played just 58 games, my ROI is 8% on maui s&g-s. And this will be just higher I hope that.:)

Play always with bad hands! Then you don't have to talk about bad beats.

If it is 10-handed I start very tight and play based on my position, usually only aggressive with premium hands. When it gets to about 5 players I choose more bluffing and semi-bluffing opportunities and try to kick out small stacks or double up throzgh big stacks. When it gets to 3 players I try to get a chiplead for heads up game...

If it is 6-handed I play more hands on the start of sng and try to get a chiplead so I can bully everyone around when they tighten up to try to be in the money when there is only 3 or 4 players left :)

I think that it is very important to observe if the table is tight or loose and then adjust your play to that... and also use to your advantage if someone is overly aggressive or too tight...

well i played really enough sit and go,i like them coz i can play more games, so that means more money for me :)

Its easer too learn habbits of other players, when they go high betting and that...

i didnt have any money, only FFP on pokerstars, and i won satelit for 10 000, i unregistred and i get 11$ toruneamnt, so i will try with that in sit and go toruneys to get something from that.. in first i get kicked, i had AA i lost it twice, now i am on second and currentlyi am third, there was 27 players, and now 11 more... 5 places paid..

My strategy is to bluff, but not get busted, and when you had something big, show that so they think you allways have something :) just need to know when you must reisem, when fold.. soner or later you must get hardly beated from shity thing.. thats the rule :D

First couple of hands i dont bet at all, only if i have some pocket pair, and stakes are low, observe, wait, when you go high, they dont know what you have.. tthen you are front.. they dont know anything about you, and you know something about them.. but you must be agressive..

well pokerroo, i play MTT mostly to answer your question. But i found a good strategy. Greenman is right playing very tight in the beginning to spare your ammunition. If you play then an agressive game (tight/agressive in the beginning) and try keep holding that, make some tells you want they notice like tight/agressive and bet an amount that's the same for a few times you can bluff for sure later in the game if necesary. I tried to get into the money and after that the second place and from 10 times i fininshed about 7 times in the money; mostly 1 or 2 and the other ones 3th.

GL all!

Look to become the dominant player at the table quickly, get ahead in the chips, then pick your moments to fire

I agree with greenman8 it`s important to play tight at first and not be agressive as others have posted. By playing tight at the start of the SNG you will find that the more agressive Players are either taken out or takeout other players. Which means the chances are your next cards are worth more because you have less opponents. And you have more time to figure how and what your opponents play. One single hand can make you Chipleader or get yourself knocktout of the Tournrnment, so its not so important to play agressive at the start in small Tourneys. In big Tourneys the Blinds get big in comparision to your original Stack so you have to take care to have enough chips for the growing blinds and cant wait too long to play a hand agressive.

In my opinion it really depends on buyin. I noticed that for example $2 buyin SNG at BetMost is very very loose and agressive...everybody wants to see a flop and when they do....there are betting and raising like tomorrow will never come. On the other hand $5 and $10 SNGs seams to be like the real tournament situation. At the beggining you do not see many people seeing flop and when blinds get to 100/200 table is almost still full like at the beggining.

At $2 when blinds reach 100/200 usually there is only 4 or 5 or rarely 6 players at the table.

You need to be tight in sit and gos when the blinds are low to preserve your chips for when the blinds are higher.

I started playing and studiyng them and your right. That's the way to play them!!
