My friend had been using my computer to play his betmost account.  Then today when he tries he gets a message to update the client, he tries only to get an error message that casino component 'common' is missing and can not be downloaded.  He then plugs my modem into his laptop(that he just got back) in order to update the client on his computer.  Of course it works fine and now mine is fubar.  Tried unistalling and reinstalling but get the same message.  Any thoughts, yes I've emailed their support and so has my friend, but so far no answer.

It should be fixed by now, if you still can't access your account you can try to redownload the software from betmost.com but you should be able to get into your account without any problems now.

Nope still get the same message.   Deleted everything, cleared everything and re installed still same message.  Seems I'm screwed.  Oh well.

I had same problem but I think it came from the Microsoft Updates yesterday. After I had installed the updates and restarted the computer then I was able to play again with no problem. First time you open the client after the updates it will take 1-2 minutes because the client updates. A comment/question to the updates. It is rather annoying that it now shows your card every time in the chat window. Of course I know my hand already when i look at my cards. Why fill the chat with the same again. If I for some reasons want to see my hand again then I can just look in the handhistory. Sorry to say but sometimes I think the iPoker Network regards the players like they are 5-6 years. Why show the same at same time twice? The same problem shows when you play tournaments and it is rather disturbing if you like me are multitabling. Shortly before the tournament begins then there come 3 popups in 5-10 seconds saying a tournament are starting soon. YES I already know that because I registered to it. And if I should heve forgotten it then I will see it when the tournament tables comes 30-90 seconds before start. Why on earth tell me that 4 times??? And a disaster can happen if you "click" for closing one of those popups. You click but in same second one of your active tables popup and the click can then be "fold" or "allin" if you are unlucky.    Are there not a option for taking these popup away completely and the showing of my cards in the chatwindow too? Why dont iPoker instead use their programmers to correct the major mistake (seat moving) in the tournaments??? It can be a complete disaster especially when you play speed tournament and when you reach the final 20-50 players. Normally the blinds are very high at that moment. Then you can be moved just after posting your Big Blind and Small Blind. Many times you are moved to another table where you are the next one to post the Big Blind. And you are unlucky the same can continue just after you had posted the Small blind again. In fact it happened to me when I was chipleader in a $5,000 tournament. We were around 60 players back and I was moved 4 times in a row just after posting BB and SB and the result was then I ended just outside top 20 because these 4 times in a row with blind were extremly expensive. Same thing happened in one of the last ECOOP events. We were 23 players back and I was moved to another BB position just after I had posted BB and SB atthe other table. Second time I was lucky because I get KK in the BB and someone tried to steal it but how often will that happen????

Those are good suggestions and good points spyfus I would really recommend you to send them to BetMost Poker ( support @ betmostpoker.com ) they read every suggestions & ideas and forward them to upper management of iPoker.

If you still have troubles please email us at support @ pokerinside.com and explain the error as much as you can and what you did etc. I would try to email BetMost Poker directly as well.

Among other issues I wrote to Betmost about that unfair seatmovements in tournaments. A year before that I emailed CDPoker about the problems with the popups and the unfair movements. From both supports I got an automatic message saying that a supporter soon will look at it. Then I didnt hear more. After 1-2 weeks I wrote to them regarding an answer/response. Then they answer me to be patient because they have forwarded my mailsw to the right departments. Then I wrote again after 2-3 months asking for some kind of reply but they didnt answer so I gave up. But after your recommend I got an idea. Please tell me if you like it or not. I am thinking of making a new thread called something like "Suggestions, changes, improvements etc for the iPoker software". Then I could start the thread with my ideas. I have more things than I have written here. Among that suggestions for new tournaments. In that way I hope it would be more constructively so iPoker not just "forget" it. I could put a deadline in the thread like 4 weeks. After that period I can write an email with all the resonnable suggestions from me and other players and send it to both BetMost and iPoker and at same time make a link to the thread so they can see that it is not only my suggestions. Of course I will post my email in here too and the answers if I get any so the players can follow it.

Could you post me a list of all the instances ie files folder and registry entries so that I may completely remove it from my system.   I will suggest that you download the Flash-uninstaller from: http://download.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/current/uninstall_flash_player.exe If it doesnt work after this uninstall and installing the new version then I think you have some program conflicts or maybe mailware or virus in your computer. I am able to help you with most of the problems including setting up the best free protection you can get. I know most of the players use the free AVG antivirus but even it is the most popular then it is a very bad protection. Even the director admits it. So if you want me to look at it then make a new thread called something like "Seeking computerhelp". And then start with telling me what version of XP or Vista you use, name of your virus program, name of your firewall if you use one, name of your malware defender if you have one. You have to be a little patient because the process can take some time. I will probably ask you to download some programmes, run them and copy the logs from them in here and then I have to look at them. And dont worry I will advise you step by step.

But I know how to solve your problem if you are using windows (32 bit version) as your operative system. More than 90% are using 32 bit versions so if you not have changed anything you use that too. Windows add/remove program and programs own uninstaller are not good enough. They find most of the files but normally there will still be some files left. A program called RevoUninstaller will find nearly all of those left over filews too if you use the deep scanning. Link to the uninstaller:   http://www.revouninstaller.com/ The program is completely free. I always use this program when I uninstall. Windows add/remove are totally worthless when you have to remove old Java versions and old FlashPlayer versions. there are so many leftovers that new version dont work properbly. I understand that you already have tried to remove the programs so my solution will take some time. the best way is to reinstall all the iPoker sites you have used. After that you uninstal them again with revouninstaller. Choose the deep scanning (the last option). The Revouninstaller will first use the programs own uninstaller. Say yes to that. After that you press Next and it will search for leftovers. It can take a minute or two depending of how much you have on your harddisk. When it is done then it most of the times make a list with leftover. Be carefull. Look at the list and mark all of them which have the name of the pokersite or ipoker or microgaming. Mark the files and delete them. After that it sometimes will list a few files that maybe are leftovers. You do the same again. then your computer should be ok and you can install the poker sites you want again. If you still have problems after that then it is not from the poker sites. It can be problems with old Java versions, old FlashPlayer versions or your computer have virus etc. If you earlier had Norton Antivirus it can make problems too. Later today I will add a new topic regarding computer help and computer security. In fact you can get a better or equal protection for FREE than what most of paying programs offers unless you want to pay +$200 yearly and then you only get a slightly better protection not necessary for home users.
