It depend which tournaments you are referring to, you can see requirements for Bronze , Silver and Gold tournament in your Weekly Poker Payback page

Basically for the Bronze and Player freeroll you need at least 1 Poker Nibs during the week to play in next week tournament. Gambler freeroll is accessible every Wednesday to PokerInside members with VIP Level Gambler or higher.
