know the menu comes above the banners and the buttons.

It looks like its a little bit slower but maybe if i do a restart thats gone.

So this isn't a PI problem.

As you can see on that orange thing, which saying "Your post has been added" there is a cross to the right, you can click on that and this thing will disappear and you can continue as normal. Or just go to another page. :o)

(im no idiot) , not all yellow banners have red-crosses :o)

tried to run the site in Opera browser... all problems solved

Is it on a particular page? if it is a bug it needs to be reported.  Page and what kind of browser you use...

I am using Mozilla firefox 3.0.1(latest version), and it looks like this for me.

to make the forums a little faster

WHY NOT SHOW THE  ORIGINAL say FIRST 10 FORUMS and then the LATESTED as per the LAST WEEK.

I.m sure not everyone is reading everything that was listed 3 months ago till today but trying to read the lasted ?????

the forum should have the most recent posts on top!!!

Tell the web team to look into this!

1) for the drop down menus they can add the "always on top" by ensuring the banners and pictures are lower in depth, this will ensure the drop downs are always on top when they hover over mouse. There is a javascript for that...

2) also a Site plan, for the entire web site hierchy, would be nice...facilitate navigation

Mothersquatch you've an exellent point!!! I annoyed myself this summer on the Gambler and Player through that rudeness. I know that all sites have some poor "players" but this is realy getting ridiculous! And not only they curse if they play bad and loose but even when a bigstack early in the tournament wins some all inns and goes all in with junk and gets called, and he wins by BEIING VERY LUCKY, as he wanted to bully all in with low blinds and plays bad. Even then ya hear him curse Fish, Donkey and some realy ugly words to the guy. I don't know how to take a screenshot but if i can help in anyway it'll be my pleasure.

I am having the same problem with the banners in front of the drop down menu.

It doesnt matter if you use XP or Vista.

Its all about your browser. PI are NOT very Internet Explorer friendly. Some parts of PI can take 2-5 minutes to download e.g. if you want to take a look at a teamsite.

If you use Firefox or Opera there are no problems with download and no banner problems

In order for helping the programming team I looked at 2 of the most importent sites in PI. The start site when you have logged in and the Promotion site. Especially for new players I think that it is a "must" to have them updated.

Start Site: 3 things need attention. A banner to the right says that the Team Challenge has $4,000 in prizes. At the buttom a banner says that the Team challenge has $3,000 in prizes. And the "flashing" banner at the top also says the Team challenge has $4,000 in prizes.

Promotion site: The top promotion listed is the Team Challenge. It says September has $6,000 in prizes and that each challenge last for 15 days.  2 of the toplisted Sponsored Promotions says: "PokerInside Leaderboard $350 Freeroll" and "PokerInside Nib Leaderboard $350 Freeroll".

Then I have a new suggestion for the forum. I got the idea when I just saw that the Fantasy poker challenge has been changed again. The latest newsletter didnt say anything about it so I think many of the players dont know it either. And I think many will like the changes because now they can win real cash again or tickets to freerolls only for the teamplayers. For me it looks like a step in the right direction.

It was only because I looked a little around in the forum that I discovered the changes. I think many players including me will like if you add a new topic in the top of the forum. Right over the "Announcements". The name can be something like "Latest News from PI", "Breaking News" or something like that. The idea is that the PI staff dayly can inform if there are problems e.g. 1-2 days extra for rewarding last weeks Payroll, write about new terms and prizes for challenges like the Fantasy, problems with updating leaderboards etc etc.  It should be a topic only for informations so the players always will know what is going on. Think the PI Staff will like that too because then there will not be so many questions and complaints. If some players have questions then they must find the right sub forum to write it in or make a new topic. With other words only a listing of the latest news so it is easy for the members to read it.

I want to add something to spyfus idea, about "latest news"... Spyfus mention that PI could inform about problems and so on.. I think it is great for members to know if there is something strange going on and I think the info is important.... to keep the members to stay. However, I don't think the info should be for all....  In my opinion you need to be inlogged on PI to read about latest news. I still think it could be good with a PI thread... clean PI thread where you can discuss all things about PI. I see a section for new members to ask questions,,... what about old members?
