Going back to kingjacks situation. I would have reraised the small stacks all-in because i would want to be 1 on 1 with him. This would also have made CL think twice about his reraise knowing you are pot commited and the only 1 who can hurt him

If there was no luck in poker we would never lose

I've folded those little pair of Devils a lot of times, since only at FR or when in a very bad shape in the game (low stack + big BBs), mine are made of pure TNT, besides the fact that call pre-flop all in is allmost a suicide in a MTT long run, anly near the death it can be used as last wish like a prisoner in the death corridor.... lol

Kingjack

shouldnt you have gone all in? Then you would have lost 30k max, and you could be sure that the last player to act would have folded.

Why not to fold AA PF ? I see no reason to fold AA preflop in some specific situations.

The most unbelivable hand that I've lost with AA was against, after he went allin preflop with ... AA. The other guy hit the flush Shocked. Stupid ? isn't it ?

Skalansky talks about folding the monsters in his book. Almost always has to do with payout, position, and if anyone can bust you NOW.

At my local rebuy tournement, there is a tendancy for evryone to go all in. It is not unknown for the whole table of 9 to go all in! If I was in the bb and this happened I might fold because the odds on AA holding up would be very slim. On the other hand, I would be getting good odds....

If you wanna play there's no better hand preflop, but we need to consider the tournament position and the prize position status to decide if it's a good time to play or not. Even with the best hand, any combination of the flop with someone's cards could be your goodbye ticket... and isn't that hard to something like that happens.

It's up to you to analyze that timing. Sometimes it's a better option to fold
