The situation is very rare but it does happen. for example you are in a satillite tourney and top 5 or so all get the same prize...you are not trying to win this tourney...you are just trying to go broke slower than the guy in 6th place...so say you are in 4 place chipcount and 2nd place raises all in ...do you call...you can but you are risking you tournament with only a few players lft who all get the same prize when the nxt person busts....if there is money on the line and only the top 2 get the seat in the big game and everyone else gets paid then you can take a chance because you still might win some money.....but like i said this is a rare situation unless you like to satillite alot in to bigger tourneys. \ Hope this helpped.

sure i will fold AA on preflop when the tournament beginns and 3 other people go all in too . Against 3 or more other player AA is not so powerfull on preflop . at the end some donk have 2 pairs straight or tree of kind and you are out whit your AA ;p

if you are really really close to get paid, and about 3 4 player moves all in pre-flop, think about it... about 50% win with pocket aces with 4 players... hard hard
but just in this case hehehehe ;D

despite having these cracked so often (it is just a pair at the end of the day) I don't think I could bring myself to drop them preflop... I seriously considered it last night, second hand of the tourney and 2 all ins before me, made me shudder. But I did call and they held up. (one guy actually had 7 4 off suit and he CALLED the all in..... wierd) You gotta have chips to win it, and it is the preflop nuts......

I would only fold if somebody went all in against it . everytime I go with an all in I have lost so I now distrust all ins with aces give me a KQ suited anytime

i all ready fold AA but it was a good fold because i was in midle position in a tournament i was very short about 12k and the most of the players include chip leader 10 times mor than me . I was in 11 position in the tournament in the bubble and the diference in 11 position por the tinal table it was very big about 150$ ...so UTG raise 16k 2 position call 3 position alin 52k and me i fold.. luky me he had KK hit a K on the turn and eliminate 2 players, after that i was in final table in 9 position ... i finish the tournanent in 5 place and i lost whith QQ againts AK came a K on the flop ... not bad i win 340.00$

Umm folding AA preflop? Never heard of such nonsense. you are over 50% favourite in any situation. -EV any way you look at it. Only time I can see a reason to fold AA would be in a satellite situation, where you are trying to qualify and there are 1 or 2 ppl left. Cash game or tournament, never ever never!

Be prepared to push all of you chips in. You want only 1 or 2 players against you when holding AA for the bullets to have a good chance of winning.
