July Freeroll Changes

Well whatever PI's reason the majority of the players were actually at the tables in their seats playing poker not bingo or any 2 will do all in. 

Glad PI changed it, now the majority of registered are playing not sitting out, and they are members so the money isn't going to non members. Much better in my opinion.

And you can qualify by playing micro limit sit'n'go's so it really shouldn't be a problem. In fact, I would like to see them do something similar for the remaining PI freerolls.

1 nib choice of either $500 freeroll

1 nib more second token for the other $500 freeroll

2 nibs more token for the $1000 freeroll

4 nibs total and gone are the password cheats/non members and a majority of the sitouts.  And by nibs I mean poker nibs, not the nibs from posting.

Hope they change them all or even cancel them altogether.  Tried of playing bingo,  I mean whats the point. If you don't get lucky in the first couple of hands when the bingo's are taking place, you will get fucked playing your KK and AA and other premium hands by the donks who have managed to double and triple up.  And on top of that PI has admitted that there may be 25% of the field that don't belong.

From now on, I will only play the one with the token the others are getting to be a serious * drag.

!!!!! Sounds like someone's steamed!! Now let's see, you'd rather not have a chance at 52 X $1500 in prize $$$$, well I don't want to smoke what you're smokin'. Perhaps you could write a "blog" about you're experences in the FR's and win some $$$ that way??

 When I started here there was a daily FR at about 8pm est. PI changed it because it wasn't a good time for Euro's and the far east, so PI did the weekend triple. That was great for most of us, the times were spread out and everyone could play. Now we're back in the same possition as before and people are going to complain that the times aren't good for them and they are losing out on PI benifits. As far as I'm concerned, there's 2 types of benifits at PI (and both are important) 1) is the preformance (ie; leaderboard, team challenge) 2) is the VIP ladder. The later is for what you've done over time, for your loyalty to PI and by cancelling these 3 FR's to fund a "Blog" Challenge, PI's being VERY unfair to me and others that have been loyal to PI for the last few years. I've won quite a bit of $$$ in this low level and it has funded my play for the last 6 months (I only had to deposit at BetMost once). By winning one in March, I was able to turn it into an LB2 winand that has funded my play this summer as well as MANY leader board apperances.

 So just because you can't win, it doesn't mean I have to lose out on what I've earned!!!!!

BTW, I got jerked last nite as well by a 3 outer, I'm not steamed, I'll be back at'em on Saturday nite!!!!

It's not that I cant win money in them, but rather I would like PI to take care of members who play. Being a member for 2 o 3 years should not entitle you to anything except maybe a gold star beside your name.  Why should some who only posts once and a while and doesn't play (except for the freerolls) get to play them.  They are not paying rake and there by not contributing to the prize pool. By the way I am not saying this is you (your nib count is obviously to high).  Also wasn't meaning that PI should keep the money, but rather hoping for new challenges for poker playing members.  Out of curiousity are you happy that PI may be giving upto 25% of that money to non members works out to 19500.

And yes I was steamed and I will still probably play sat cause I'm a glutton for punishment.

We're still getting nothing with them being cancelled. Both the "blog challenge" and team challenge were started before the cancellations. As for the "cheats", they're still in all the other password tournaments and the math doesn't change for them either. My earlier post answered how to stop password cheats, either have a payout in LB "Nibs" equal to what the cash payout would have been, or delay the payouts till membership is verified (Hell, I'll do it for PI!!!) if they're not members then get BetMost to block thier account for a week as punishment, then you'll see how many cheats there are!!!!

As for a "gold star", Ya I'll take that too!!! But I want my FR's as well!! I already run a team (The "EH" Team, a pretty damn good 1 at that) and I can make the LB2 pretty much anytime I want, so the LB3 does nothing for me, I might even get involved with the PI's Ultimate League 4 too, But I don't do "Blogs" and I think it's not a fair way to spread the wealth and it's tooo much like going to school and I'm loong past that!!! All I'm trying to say is, I already do enough to support PI and now I'm being asked to do more for less, when there was several ways fix things without cancelling the tournaments!!!!

 costelrusu, I also beleive PI's doing good, but what do you think of not having a chance at these tournaments? You've got a long way to go if you're trying to post yourself into the Player's? If the others were still going you'd have a chance in 3x$350 this weekend. 1 good finish and you'd have a BR to go for the LB's!!! Or you could write a blog and you might get a chance at $200?!

At least I try, by all rights Simon should be deleting all of these "worthless" post you do and take back your "Nibs". I have yet to read 1 of your post that actually say anything and you do 5 of these a day??? Why you haven't been banned from the forum is beyond me!?! (but I hope this will help Simon to talk to you about this waste of space!)

the vip status pge needs to be changed i was searching for these tournaments for a while :P

This sounds intresting, i dont no enough about poker but i hope to learn soon... maybe by freerolls i will learn my game risk free...

I stil miss the $350freerolls but I it getting better everyday...
