been playing team fanasty and now am looking at the points awarded for the hands ,looks to me that a team that gets a straight flush or 4 of a kind they could walk away being #1 ,I would think points for those hands shouldn't have that much of a margin, just look at the team points , If  one team got the str flush it would compromise alll the other teams and present less enthusium to participate , mostly if a team scored a hand with those points at the begginning of the month, it would be much better to reduce the points for these hands, MAYBE 1400 FOR  4-OF- A-KIND AND 2100  FOR-STRAIGHT -FLUSH,   will keep point spread closer and competion TOUGH AND CLOSE

If a team plays enough to beat the odds and get these incredible hands, they should be well-rewarded for it. The points awarded for each hand are based directly on the odds for reaching those hands, so mathematically the numbers are already correct.

We do want a fun, fair and competitive competition that has all teams fighting against eachother. That's when it's most fun! So, of course we will keep in mind that this can happen when we will create the prizes for each Challenge. Don't worry, it will still be worth it for all other teams to play hard Cool

Ever thought of setting up a actual MTT game say once a month were the teams can actually play against one another? or even a private team game ? You cant set up a private game on betmost , other sites do have an option of setting up a private table maybee you could sugest this to betmost thanks

Wonderful promotion and I say that becuase even smaller teams have a chance at winning something.

In future promotions I'd like to see more teams get cash if possible and I'd like to see a seperate step up for royal flush.

Moneymakers is still looking for players so if you play more than 200 hands a week - Join Us! See my sig for the link.

I'd love to know if this challenge involves raked hands in omaha & 7 stud or just holdem?

I am looking forward when STT and MTT are count as well

My suggestion:

STT and MTT buy in 0-1 dollar     count 20 RH's

STT and MTT buy in 1-100 dollar count 50 RH's

so even small players can profit but a little advantage for the others

when you play cash table with 0.01/0.02 or 0.02/0.04 also not every hand is a raked hand

so the advantage is about the same

hope you can follow me kind of late at night..

Starting very soon, STTs and MTTs will each count for 25 raked hands. We do not want to base anything on the AMOUNT of rake/fee to keep things consistent between small players and big players. We will announce when this improvement is live!

Yes your idea is good and I understand it very well

but a small mistake is as I already have written with the small players who play cashtables with 0.01/0.02 or 0.02/0.04

there only about every third hand is a raked hand. So the bigger players take advantage anyway

but anyway nothing can be perfect!

All questions, ideas, and suggestions are welcome! Help us spread the word and make this Challenge and the Prize Pool grow!

Hi,

overall i like the challenge, but i don't like the fantasy card system at all, because you have no real influence on all of this.

Also it would be cool, to make team freerolls instead of individuals, where you split up the winnings so this is some real team sports instead of just individual points summed up.

HeinZ: Have a look at the Team Challenge Leaderboard you will see that its not necessarely the team with the most raked hands that is #1, you could have only 250 raked hands and make a Royal Flush which would give you tons of points. That is why even low stakes players have their chances.
