How do I know how many points my teams really has? If I add up the teams points it comes to over twice the posted amount?

Will team Owners have the abillity to boot non raking members by the end of the month So they can accept new members who are willing to pitch in for the team?

Yes, team owners will soon have the ability to manage team members, wall posts, and everything else related to the team. This includes removing team members that are not "pulling their weight".

We have changed the way the Fantasy Hands are displayed, so it should be easier to interpret now. Before it was showing ALL hands your team had generated. Now it will only display hands created for the current challenge. We will add ability to view past hands as well, but at least now you can see how your team's Fantasy Points are determined.

Mother, you make some very valid points, and I want to address them ... My response is in blue.

The tournament thing (while being a good idea) was not set-up propperly (FR first then the paid tournaments after and a point system that was wacked and rewarded aways?!)

It's always easy to say after the fact what was set up perfectly and where there were mistakes. However, we are in no rush, and we enjoy the learning process of seeing what works and what doesn't. We took notes and we will make our next league better. And, after that, we will likely make it better. We're already improving around here. That's part of the fun!

Now this team thing. Why didn't  someone think about what counts in this competition, then post it in the rules? Even a better idea, why not use the forums to post these new ideas, give the lay-out of what the idea is then lets "brianstrom" it together for a week, letting the membership make suggestions and vote on which way to go with it?

Well, we did think about it, and we wanted to get it up in running in SOME form. We see it this way ... it's better for us to get it running in beta mode and paying out cash prizes WHILE we all brainstorm here. This way, you guys can get a taste of what it's like, give your input and suggestions AND have a chance at winning $3,000 in cash. Why should we wait and discuss it here first when it would be impossible to explain exactly what we are doing? It's much better if we can SHOW you and let you experience it and then tell us your ideas like you're doing here!

Also the old messaging system that we had at PI before would be helpful in finding out who on "your team" is actually active. I won't post my email address on my team's wall and I've been waiting for some kind of response from them to see if anyone else is into this competition.

We will be adding some Team Management tools to help this type of stuff. We understand it is 100% necessary if we want the team stuff to explode. Keep the ideas coming!

Yes, you can Leave any team you belong to. But, be careful, once you leave, you cannot come back.

Well Jason, I guess all I can say to your reply to my post (which I deleted, I noticed that you had nothing to say about my first paragraph) is that I'll have to keep my mouth shut and play the freerolls till summer when I have the time to play the way I like (and maybe all the bugs have been worked out and the rules set?!).

I don't understand how the ranking is calculated. My idea was that the number of raked hands of each team is the deciding factor.

But that's obviously not true. See Team Slovakia. One playing member with 1793 raked hands but 620 Fantasy Points and rank 2 in the Leaderboard.

So how does this Team Challenge really work? Please explain!

I commented on every aspect that needed commenting. Nobody is asking you to keep your mouth shut at all. In fact, we prefer the opposite where you share your great ideas and help us improve our rewards community. The key is understanding that Rome was not built in a day, and that we are all in this together. This is what makes us so special. If you have ideas, share them ... and do it in a considerate way. Nobody wants to read you ranting and raving about why this Free Money here and there sucks, etc. We're here to improve, not bash eachother.

Take care, and hope to hear your great ideas soon!

Did you read the details here: www.pokerinside.com/teams?

We wanted to create a Challenge that had SOME degree of luck (in the short term) so that any team can win BUT where the teams that are playing the most raked hands always have the advantage.

Here's the basics, and you can follow the links for more information:

Every 50 raked hands a team plays (at BetMost Poker, FatBet Poker or QPoker) will earn that team 1 Fantasy Card from a virtual 52-card deck. Every 5 Fantasy Cards forms a Fantasy Hand which is assigned a point value (see chart on right).

A teams' Fantasy Points are the sum of ALL their Fantasy Hand's point values. The more raked hands a team plays, the more Fantasy Hands are generated!

Straight Flush 70,000 Points
Four of a Kind 4,000 Points
Full House 700 Points
Flush 600 Points
Straight 250 Points
Three of a Kind 45 Points
Two Pair 20 Points
Pair 15 Points
High Card 1 Points
