David Arsht will be heading back to Philidelphia with plenty to brag about to his poker buddies. Arsht is a 66 year-old semi-retired urologist who recently won event 13 of the World Series of Poker. His victory was worth $211,921 and a coveted gold WSOP bracelet.
"I don't think my friends think that I had the capacity to win a WSOP gold bracelet." Says Arsht. "Because you know, they play this very fast and aggressive game. They think that my game is different from theirs. They think I'm sort of like -- slow."
Stephen Hung was runner-up in the match. His finished marked his deepest run and biggest cash in a WSOP event. He took home $130,903 for his efforts.
Other notable deep runs included bracelet holders Jennifer Harmon, making her 27th WSOP cash, Humberto Brenes, cashing for his 64th time and moving him into 5th place in the all time cashes record, as well as Eric Buchman and Brett Jungblut.
