I play alot of tornaments and im still surprised how peope plays, especially the cards they have when they call an allin. Im not talking rebuys, or when people getting shortstacked, its when 2-3 people clash togheter with the same amont of chips in the middle, early stage of the tournament. In this situation , when 2 player have gone allin and its my turn to act, i dont call with A3 or KJ,not even if just one player have pushed all his chips in the middle, but i see it all the time. Why risk your your place in the tournament with those hands?  Ok they tripple up if they got lucky, but that cant be a good startegy in the long run . If yo call with A3 and is up against 99 your only got 30% to win. And with Kj against A3 and 99 you got 34%, and if the player got qq instaed of 99 you only got 24%.

Last night a played alot of tourneys and was allin 6 times, not counting the late stage when people getting shortstacked.

It was AA vs JJ, 80% favorite, qq vs 1010, same odds and JJ vs k4 71% favorite. I lost those three

And the three i won was kk vs qj 85% AA vs 66 ,80% and AA vs A5 91%

Nothing wrong with the other players hands, besides A% and KJ

This is a normal day for me. Throw in an KK loss against AA every third day and you get the feeling in what situation im riskning my place in the tournament in.

I won 50% of the hands, but i was hugh favorite in all of them. Its not often i get in an allin situation with less than 80% chance to win, i lke to think thats pretty good odds, if i only played when i was 90% or more i would be to tight, and if i would lower my % to 55-60% it would be to much lottoplaying.

If i only i could win 8/10 times im a 80% favorite i would do fine. :)
